Privacy

You can see the whole site without an account, and then we keep nothing about you. This is what we keep if you sign in with Discord or buy one of our packs.

What we keep

  • Your Discord ID, your name and your avatar, as Discord has them when you sign in.
  • Whether you're a verified buyer: it's a role in our Discord server, which we read every time you sign in. You also count as a buyer if you have an LK Convertor subscription with your Discord linked.
  • The projects you follow, the ones you vote for, and when you last signed in.
  • The ideas you suggest to us: their title, their text and what became of them.
  • For each notice we send you on Discord, that it was sent and whether it arrived. What it said isn't kept.
  • We don't ask for your email when you sign in, and we don't keep your IP address with your account.

If you buy a pack

  • If you buy one of our packs on MCModels, MCModels gives us, with the sale, your email, what you bought, what you paid and your order number. We use it to keep our accounts and to know who buys from us.
  • We keep your email encrypted, and only the owner of LK Industries sees it.
  • If you verify the purchase on our Discord, the bot tells us your order number and your Discord ID, so we know which purchase is yours. It doesn't send us your email.
  • Our Discord bot keeps its own record of each order it verifies, with the purchase email, the pack and your Discord ID, so the same order can't be claimed twice.
  • In “My account” we show you the packs from the orders you verified: their name and links, without what you paid or the order number. Only you see them.
  • To have your purchase data deleted, open a ticket in our Discord server (the link is at the end): we delete your email and what links your orders to your Discord, and we don't keep it again with your later purchases. The sale stays in our accounts, without your email. If you also want the bot to forget the orders it verified, say so in the ticket.

If you have LK Convertor

  • If you have an active LK Convertor subscription and have linked your Discord there, LK Convertor tells us your Discord ID, and nothing else about your account: not your email, your plan or what you pay.
  • We use it so you count as a buyer here: you see the previews and your vote weighs more. When your subscription ends, LK Convertor stops telling us and you stop counting as a buyer.
  • If you don't want it to tell us, open a ticket in our Discord server: we remove the link between your Discord and your LK Convertor account, and we stop knowing. Your subscription stays as it is.

If you suggest an idea

  • We keep what you write and who suggested it. Only the owner of LK Industries reads it: it isn't published.
  • If we turn it into a project, the project is ours and stays even if you withdraw the idea or delete your account. Your name isn't on it.
  • You can withdraw it whenever you like from “My account”, and it is deleted right away.

What for

  • To remember what you follow and what you vote for, and so each person votes for each project only once.
  • To tell you about the projects you follow: when one gets an update or is done, our Discord bot may send you a direct message. It stops when you unfollow the project.
  • Votes help us decide what to start and what to pick back up. For each project we show how many people voted, not who.

Cookies

  • One session cookie, which keeps you signed in, and another that only says you have one. They are deleted when you sign out and, if you do not, they expire on their own.
  • While you sign in we use two more, which last minutes and delete themselves.
  • None are for advertising or tracking.

Who we share it with

  • We don't sell or hand over your data. It's stored on our hosting provider's servers.
  • Discord knows you signed in here with your account, because it is what identifies you.
  • To message you, our Discord bot receives your Discord ID and the message. The message reaches you through Discord, which handles it under its own rules.
  • If you verify a purchase on our Discord, the bot tells us you're a buyer and your order number. It doesn't send us your email.
  • MCModels, where the packs are sold, gives us with each sale the purchase data described above, in “If you buy a pack”.
  • LK Convertor, which also belongs to LK Industries, tells us which Discord accounts have an active subscription, as described in “If you have LK Convertor”.

Abuse

  • To stop it we count how many requests come from each address for one minute. That count isn't kept.

Deleting your data

  • “My account” has “Delete my account”. Your account on this site, what you follow, your votes, your ideas and what we keep about the notices we sent you are deleted right away.
  • If you're on the LK Industries team, what you did on this site is deleted; LK Industries manages your panel account.
  • Your purchase data isn't deleted with “Delete my account”, because it isn't part of your account on this site: ask us in a ticket in our Discord server, as described in “If you buy a pack”.

LK Industries is responsible for this data. For any other request about your data, open a ticket in our Discord server.
